Actress Jane Adams has a guest-starring role in Season 2 of the CBS series CIA.  In episode 3, her character reluctantly helps the stars prevent a catastrophe even though she suffers from agoraphobia.  The show is produced by Dick Wolf (whose other credits include Law & Order, FBI, and Chicago Med/Fire/PD.)

Mr. Wolf’s company contacted The Sound Palace and arranged for Ms. Adams to record further dialog for the episode entitled “Radioactive” which will air on October 19, 2026.

Ms. Adams was in Studio A on October 12th and we recorded about a dozen vocals cues in coordination with the director who communicated with us and the actress via a Zoom link. She is a delightful actress with a wonderful sense of humor.

Just 3 days after winning an Emmy for Best Supporting Actor in the HBO show “Task”, Tom Pelphrey was in our studio on September 17, 2026 to record some narration for an upcoming dark comedy from director Mills McQueen called “Rooster.”

Mr. Pelphrey and Mr. McQueen worked together in our tracking room, fine-tuning the dialog to match an animated sequence in the film.

We thoroughly enjoyed working with both of them, and were delighted to learn the Mr. Pelphrey, who was raised in New Jersey is a die-hard Yankees fan.

On Sept 8, 2026 local actress Shirley Raun was in our Studio “A”, recording voiceovers for an upcoming advertising campaign for Aerie, a clothing line by American Eagle Outfitters.

During the recording process, representatives from both the production company in Ohio and Aerie communicated with Ms. Raun through our studio’s Source Connect software enabling the production company to record Ms. Raun’s voice as clearly as if she was in their Ohio recording studio.

The Harbor Picture Company is a multi-national media company and contracted with Papa John’s Pizza to create a new series of television commercials.

Local voice actor Fernando Raigoza was asked to narrate the commercials and The Sound Palace was  chosen to handle the recording process.

We last worked with Mr. Raigoza in connection with a series of television commercials for Huggies.

Harbor Picture’s New York office was in charge of the production and had a dedicated audio engineer assigned to record Mr. Raigoza’s voice in New York even though Mr. Raigoza was actually in our California studio.

We therefore incorporated software called Source Connect which allowed our two studio to be connected and preserving the pristine fidelity of the recording as though Mr. Raigoza was actually in their New York studio.

So look and listen the next time a Papa John’s Pizza commercial airs and know that the voice you’re hearing was captured in our little studio.

As an award-winning multimedia content provider, they don’t just tell stories—they architect complete sensory worlds that redefine how narratives can be experienced in the digital age, inviting audiences to experience storytelling in ways that are immersive, imaginative, and deeply original.

The upcoming release of the latest novel by author Rich Shapero is entitled “These Balmy Days”.

The story takes place in Portugal and is told by a elderly grandfather who is visiting from America.  Although many actors can provide an approximation of the required character voicing, the company wanted an authentic flavor and enlisted Arthur Morey to provide the reading.

A Harvard graduate and former professor at Northwestern University, Mr. Morey has recorded over 500 audiobooks in his career, winning multiple awards.  The Sound Palace was chosen to record Mr. Morey’s narration.

The company’s Creative Director, Jan Lindsay-Smith, flew out from New York and was in our control room to assist with this 6 day project.  Since the novel is peppered with Portuguese language,  Jan was equipped with pronunciation audio which we routed to Mr. Morey’s headphones each time it was required. (And it was often required; Portuguese is a very challenging language as it resembles Spanish but has a completely different pronunciation.)

The release date for the book and immersive experience has not yet been selected but is likely to occur by the end of the summer.

The recently released debut album from the supremely talented band “Tell Me Why” was recorded and mixed over several weeks at both of our studio facilities (Studios “A” and “B”.)  The process involved all 3 of our engineers (Pat Murphy, Bill Davis,and Danny Langa.)

We are very proud of the resulting album and now honored and humbled when we learned the band voted to name the album “The Sound Palace Sessions-Volume 1.”  (Volume 2 is already in production.)

On May 27, 2026 Jamie Foxx and members of the post-production crew from Netflix were at The Sound Palace to record additional dialog for the upcoming film “Fight For ’84” 

Jamie stars as Roosevelt Sanders, who coached the 1984 Olympic Boxing Team which was formed after the 1980 team was tragically killed in a plane crash.
