Chick Singer Night (now in its 33rd year), returned to a sellout crowd at Studio B on November 6, 2021 as part of its Los Angeles/Ventura based tour schedule.
As usual, the CSN band consisted of top-notch musicians:
-Bassist JV Collier (The Temptations, Frankie Valli, Herbie Hancock, Ben E. King, Gladys Knight, 5th Dimension, Bonnie Raitt)
-Drummer Todd Wolf (Joe Bonamassa, Robby Krieger, 3 Dog Night, Spencer Davis)
-Keyboardist George Friedenthal (Kenny Loggins, Mary Wilson of the Supremes, Alan Parsons, the Tonight Show)
-Guitarist Terry Wollman (Melissa Manchester, Dionne Warwick, Little Richard, Wilson Phillips, Joan Baez, Joe Walsh)
The vocalists included:
–Melanie Taylor (Ray Charles, Billy Joel, Sheryl Crow, Bette Midler, Stevie Wonder, Donna Summer, Barry Manilow, Barbra Streisand)
–Rosemary Butler (Linda Ronstadt, Jackson Browne, Carole King, Paul McCartney, Whitney Houston, Neil Diamond)
By the end of the show the crowd at Studio B was on its feet clapping and singing along to Jackson Browne’s “Running On Empty.”
